Brands.

Companies I've started, invested in, or helped grow along the way.

Fresh Prep delivers pre-portioned meal kits. It started in Vancouver and is now throughout Canada. I joined early as a partner and investor, and served as VP of Marketing, where I helped build the growth engine and was responsible for all revenue growth — we took it from $300K to $16M in annual revenue in two years.

I was a strategy manager at Hootsuite, where I led the company's web strategy — work that contributed to millions in net new ARR. Search traffic grew 100% in six months, and I helped bring multiple new products to market with rapid adoption. I also established a new protocol that drives tens of thousands of new sales leads at a low cost.

I was brought on as AeroPress's fractional marketing leader to lead the transition after the company was acquired. I was responsible for revamping its online presence.

Through Rethink, I was responsible for all digital marketing programs for Shaw Communications while leading the digital side of the launch of Shaw's national rebrand — one of the largest ever in Western Canada.

As Stonz's fractional CMO, I took responsibility for all marketing initiatives and led the team. In about a year, I more than tripled online monthly revenue.

I'm building Westwater with my partner Chris. We're looking to acquire profitable, durable businesses across BC and Western Canada — usually $500K–$1M in EBITDA, with real repeat customers — and hold them indefinitely instead of flipping them like private equity does. Chris will run operations; I'll focus on growth, marketing, and technology. We have capital committed from a small group of Vancouver families for a 2027 close.

Most Shopify stores turn off a product the second it's out of stock — and lose every sale that would've come in while they restocked. This app kept the listing live, flagged what was backordered, and told customers when to expect it. Sold it a few years back.

Email is the one channel businesses still own, but writing and managing it had quietly become slow and noisy. My co-founder and I built Hoppy Copy to fix that — AI-assisted email copy, sequences, and analytics. We grew it to more than 100,000 marketers, from zero to seven figures in revenue in about a year and a half.

My co-founder and I started JJ Suspenders after a wedding where we couldn't find a pair that didn't look cheap or cost a fortune to ship. We bootstrapped it with $5,000, grew it to roughly $500K a year, and kept it lean enough to run in about four hours a week.

I started Westside Pressure Wash just after high school, washing driveways and siding for neighbors on weekends. It grew into a real operation with commercial contracts too — parking lots, storefronts — before I sold it.

Handmade Venetian masquerade masks, made by traditional artisans in Italy and shipped out for masquerade balls, Mardi Gras, weddings, and prom. It had a good run before I wound it down.
